“Here comes the sun…here comes the sun…here comes the sun and I say, it’s alright”. I send this to the sun god with the hopes that we will be graced with the sun’s presence sometime in the near future. We have not felt its warmth since Saturday and though we are only experiencing a small squall here and there, there is a steady drizzle that keeps everyone and everything damp, damp, damp. We’re all donning our foul weather gear fairly regularly at this point. The entire crew is in agreement though that we’ll take this if we can keep up the glorious 6+ knots that we have been cruising along at for the past two days. The sailing has been incredible, despite the fluky winds which just keep our sail trimming skills exercised.
