Those who know me well know how much I love champagne. Those who know me even better know how much I love Ruinart champagne. It has been my favorite for years, it is the champagne that my husband proposed to me with, and sadly it has been absent from US shelves for quite some time. Apparently it is no longer being purveyed in the US (though I believe this is about to change). It occurred to me upon our arrival in the French West Indies that there would be a chance that I would find it here. Imagine my delight upon finding it sitting on the shelf of a grocery store in St. Martin and for a fraction of what we had paid for it in the states. So we bought a few bottles, which of course are now long gone, but we’ll plan to stock up once we get to France. Here is me toasting to you all…can you feel it??

Cheers friends!!
Tni and David, I’m so sorry that we have been such a voyeur; reading your fascinating tales and not posting to you! We are green with envy here in the beautiful desert, and think of you throughout the days, wondering what wonderful life adventures you are having AT THIS VERY MINUTE! We land lubbers are sending warm wishes you way, and hope to celebrate in person as soon as possible – but we have miles and miles to go before we share! Cheers again, take care,
Angela and Chris
