The Chutes de Carbet are these magnificent waterfalls on the interior of Gaudaloupe. David and I had a wonderful hike up to see them. We snuck across the barrier and got as close as we could, enough to feel the mist on our faces. Felt like being back in Yosemite. After a strenuous hike, what better thing than to visit a distillery. This one was the oldest in Gaudaloupe and they were fantastic b/c they allowed us to peruse all of the inner workings at our leisure, something that could never have happened in the states.
