I just had to add that on our short but treacherous journey from St. Martin to St. Barts, Monte (the dinghy, not the person) decided that he was not ready to leave St. Martin and attempted to make his way back. I happened to be gazing at the horizon and a little over a mile back I see what I think is a dinghy. Then my eyes rest on the spot behind us where we should be towing ours, I jump up and tell David that our dinghy has gone missing. We turn around and in steep seas have to retrieve Monte. I was sure that in addition I was going to end up getting some man overboard drill practice as well. We were lucky a second time on this brief passage when as a result of all the pounding into the swells that we were doing, our computer bounced its way right off the nav station and onto the floor. How there was no damage is beyond me. That should have given us some indication as to how wonderful and worth the trip St. Barts would be. And on that note, I promise within the next day to fill you all in on the four glorious weeks that we spent on the magical island of St. Barts.
