Wednesday May 30 Part 2

Did I say “drizzle” in my last posting??? I’ve certainly jinxed myself then, b/c “drizzle” has been replaced by a steady downpour. Jeff was the first to take advantage of the many showers with a shower himself.
We’ve again been witnessing a lot of bird activity. I am completely awed by them. Where are they going? What are they doing, and more importantly, when do they rest? Though others have reported that they have hitchhiked rides on their boats, we have yet to see one land on ours. Today they started coming from every direction…20+ of them heading to this one spot west of us. It was like a call had gone out for them to congregate. The direction that they headed to was opposite of where we are going and we imagined that they were looking at us as if to say, “I don’t know where you think you’re going, but we’re out of here!”
